    Great bbq place. Was in on a Sunday afternoon, place was full. Waitress was fast and professional. Had pulled pork sandwich and wife had 1/2 rack. Very good and tender. Lots of sauces. My new bbq place.

    Two stars because I have been to BubbaQues twice and both times left disappointed. At my last visit I had the piggyback ribs which on the menu are described as traditional baby rack ribs in a sweet sauce. What they don't tell you is that far from traditional baby back ribs they are tough and have a spicy, over salted dry rub hiding under the sauce. In fact they were so tough I needed a steak knife to separate them. When I think about baby back ribs I think fall of the bone tender meat ribs but this was not it. They fell extremely short of my expectations. I tried every sauce on the table and never found one I loved but found the Tractor grease at least made the ribs edible. I did enjoy the fried okra that I chose as my side but otherwise left unsatisfied. Located in the same parking lot as Sonnys BBQ so there is no reason for me to come back.

    There are two BBQ near this exist of I-75. This one is only 0.6 mile from I-75. I am thinking to give a try this afternoon. This restaurant have unique selection of the rib. St. Louis style with dry rubbed; sticky bone is St. Louis style with caramelized; meaty back rib is tradition with selection of oversize meaty area of rib; of course there is traditional back rib. I have the tradition baby back with sweet potatoes fried and BBQ baked bean. The full rack of the rib with one side is $11.99 and two sides is $13.49. What a price. Enough said, time to get your hand dirty. The best part to eat and enjoy the rib is by hand. The rib is dry rubbed and top with hickory smoke BBQ source. The meat juicy and pink. Because this is a dry rubbed, the meat is tendency to stick with bone a little bit. With the yelp help, I was able to find this place. Thanks for those who have yelp before me. The rib at my plate is more than 12" long. Mmmmm! This good.

    I had take out and can't wait go try some of the other menu items. The apps look interesting. Fort first trip I got ribs and pulled pork and two sides. The ribs were extremely tender - so if you like fall off the bone - these are it. The pull pork was decent. The cole slaw was ridiculously good. And the baked beans are just baked beans. I will go back because I'm happy that a decent BBQ place decided to come to Ruskin area!!

    This place comes SO close to being 5 stars. The food was Great ! It's a bunch of little things that held it back. The BBQ was outstanding. The meat was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the various BBQ sauce options (found myself mixing 2 of them together). The french fries were crispy but not over cooked. So what were the negatives ? ? The chili had GREAT flavor but was runny (almost watery) and they don't have sour cream. (Chili & No sour cream ??). The service polite & friendly but I had to ask for a spoon for the chili and then I needed to ask for knife & fork when the meat & Mac n cheese arrived (should be set out as soon as the server greets a customer). The beer selection STINKS ! No I don't want Bud, Bud Lite, Miller, Miller Lite etc . . . Not even a Sam Adams which I consider a better generic beer (and NO Heineken doesn't count either). REALLY REALLY needs some micro brews or local beers like Cigar City or J Dubs. Ok so you got the idea GREAT food, needs to improve the other stuff. I will definitely give them another shot. Oh and I REALLY hope that management reads this ! Its SO close to Great.

    We were greeted at the door by a server and seated. We ordered flavored lemonade, which was very good. The server took our order and left, only to come back in fifteen minutes to tell us the pos was down and that we could get our order if we were going to pay cash. We asked the manager if this was normal policy! The server did say that the food was in the window and that if we wanted to wait for the pos to come back up they would hold it under the hot Lamp!!! Really????? I guess this is standard operating procedure. The manager explained to us that they have no back up ability for paying by credit card, but there was an ATM up the street. Needless to say we left, along with a few other customers. Went to Sonny's and had some good BBQ. We drove seven miles to try this restaurant. Very disappointed!! Might try the Brandon Location. A little farther though. May I will Phone first!!

    Some of the reviews were not encouraging but we decided to give it a try anyway. It was great. The food was excellent and our bar tender Jessica was outstanding!

    Finally made it in to Bubbaques and I will tell you what all the ranting and raving is true. They have some of the best St. Louis style ribs I have ever had (excellent dry rub and fall off the bone tender), the wife ordered the pulled pork which was great as well (moist and great smoked flavor), for sides you must try the fried corn and jalapeño poppers. Aside from the food the service was good, with a warm welcome "Howdie Welcome to Bubbaques" from the staff and the constant friendly faces you will feel right at home. Definitely will be back soon.

    Moved here from Tenn, came with friends visiting from there too. Tn ppl consider themselves BBQ experts and we all agree this was as good, if not better than anything we had there. Our server, Brandy, was attentive, the manager came out too. 7 different sauces including the moonshine which is vinager based which you don't see too often. For appitisers we had Bubba nuggetd and jalapino poppers both great! Main course was ribs and pulled pork, both of which were excellent too. Had no room for dessert, Carmel apple cheesecake we'll try next time. Yummy Amber Bock beer on draft. Will defenatly be back.

    We love this place. Everything we have tried is good, especially the smoked chicken and the ribs as our favorites. The employees are all very friendly and we have enjoyed every visit.

    I am a pulled pork pervert ! It was good but tasted dry, maybe barbecue sauce wasn't that good will definitely go back and try some brisket. The lady servers had nice uniforms. Good atmosphere plenty to look at.

    Had green fried tomatoes to start and they were awesome.......bbq sammiches were great. Love the decor and staff were awesome. Highly recommend

    Went with my wife and sister, we all had different items; burger, salad and BBQ pork. Everybody thought it was good. Waitress was excellent! We will go back.

    The reviews for barbecue brisket barbecue ribs chicken all are great . but if you like salads it is not the place to order. It just wasn't a good look for the eye. Had better salads at Subway.

    BBQ pulled pork was great. Fries were just okay. But I loved the fried pickles! It is so hard to find places where the batter sticks to the pickles. Six different sauces, I had the hickory, delicious. And fried Okra was very good. Waitress was friendly and the manager stopped by to be sure we were enjoying it. We'll be coming back here with friends.

    The absolute best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had! Tender and flavorful. The sauces at each table are each better than the next! The decor is fun and attractive. Our waitress was attentive, funny and friendly. I hope they make it because they really have some great food and some very nice and capable staff.

    After work today I decided I wanted a mediocre pork sandwich for lunch and thought of BubbaQue's because I've eaten it once before and I didn't get sick so why not try it again. So I walked in around 1:30pm looked around and saw there were maybe 3 tables occupied so my thought was I would be out of there in no time since they simply have to put the pork in a to-go box cash me out and I would be on my way to eating the mediocre pork sandwich I craved today. BUT, after waiting for 5 minutes for one of the multiple employees to acknowledge my existence in their hardly occupied mediocre BBQ place, I soon realized that if I wanted someone to take my order I better grab a menu from one of multiple unoccupied tables and sit at the bar. So after watching the waitresses text and talk to each other and some other employee and maybe that employee's wife carry a baby in the kitchen, one of them finally got around to taking my order. After 15 minutes of waiting a different waitress walks by and asks 'did so and so cash you out yet?' I said 'no' so she went to her terminal asked for my name and said my name wasn't in the system and she needed to check. She comes back after a few more minutes apologizing saying that my order was never entered in the computer and do I want her to enter my order and cash me out. I said "no" politely and walked out, even though I had wasted half an hour of my day for absolutely nothing when all I wanted was a mediocre pork sandwich. Never again will I step foot in BubbaQue's. There are other mediocre pork sandwiches that can be had via drive thru elsewhere.
